Understanding Incontinence

Millions of adults live with bladder leaks. Researchers estimate that roughly half of all women experience urinary incontinence, along with as many as 1 in 3 men over 65, especially after prostate treatment or as pelvic floor muscles weaken with age. It's common, but it's not something you have to accept.

Stress Incontinence

Leaks with coughing, laughing, sneezing, lifting, or exercise.

Urge Incontinence

Sudden, intense urges, often with little warning and frequent trips to the bathroom.

Mixed Incontinence

A combination of both, the most common pattern we see in our clinics.

THE TREATMENT

A Simple, Comfortable In-Office Session

You relax, fully clothed, in a specialized treatment chair. During the session, targeted electromagnetic energy activates and strengthens the deep pelvic floor muscles, the equivalent of thousands of Kegels, while you simply sit and read.

Non-Invasive

No needles, no incisions, no anesthesia, just sit down and relax.

Fully Clothed

Wear what you came in wearing. Nothing to remove or change into.

No Downtime

About 28 minutes per session, return to your day immediately after.

FAQ

Common Questions

Does the treatment hurt?
No. Most patients describe it as a light tapping or tingling sensation in the pelvic area, similar to a gentle vibration. There's no pain and no discomfort during or after the session, and the intensity is adjusted to your comfort level throughout. You can read, scroll your phone, or simply relax while it works.
How soon will I see results?
Many patients notice fewer leaks and stronger control after just a few sessions. Full benefits typically develop over the six-week treatment course and continue to build in the months afterward as the pelvic floor muscles retrain. Results vary based on your starting point, consistency, and overall pelvic health.
Who is a candidate?
Adults with stress, urge, or mixed incontinence are typically great candidates. This includes women postpartum or post-menopause, men recovering from prostate treatment, and anyone whose pelvic floor has weakened with age or activity. A short consultation reviews your history and confirms whether this treatment is right for you before you begin.
Do I need to undress?
No. You stay fully clothed throughout the entire session, so there's no gowning, changing, or exposure of any kind. Just sit in the treatment chair, get comfortable, and relax while the session runs. Most patients come straight from work or errands and head right back out afterward.
Is there any downtime?
None. Sessions take about 28 minutes and you can return to work, exercise, driving, and all normal activities immediately afterward. There are no restrictions, no recovery time, and no side effects to plan around, which is why many patients schedule sessions during a lunch break.
Is it covered by insurance?
Coverage varies by plan and by diagnosis, and Medicare does not cover this treatment. Our team will review your benefits with you and go over self-pay options during your consultation, so you know exactly what to expect before starting treatment.
Is it safe for everyone?
The treatment is non-invasive and well tolerated, but it isn't right for every patient. Metal implants, pacemakers, and certain implanted devices in the treatment area rule it out, and there are a few other conditions we screen for. Your provider reviews your full history at the consultation and confirms you're a candidate before you begin.
